Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Isn’t this just a “small–time” opportunity?
A:
Vast numbers of people are in networking programmes because they are so accessible. The perception therefore, can often be of a bunch of enthusiastic amateurs making ‘pin’ money. This masks the real opportunity to use key business skills in a classic free enterprise system with no boundaries or limits and no discrimination. A highly efficient and professional corporate team, with a proven 27-year track record, ensures the business systems are in place to support this substantial worldwide operation. The highest earners in the Company are in the top 1% of money earners in the UK and have built businesses that turnover in excess of £10 million a year – with no overheads!

Q: Is this pyramid selling?
A:
Pyramid selling is illegal! Under the Fair Trading Act of 1973 it is recognised as Class 1 fraud and is punishable with a custodial sentence. Any hierarchy, be it government, corporate, church or military, is pyramidal in shape. In Network Marketing the person at the top isn’t necessarily the one making the most money. Everyone starts from the same point and reaps the rewards in direct proportion to the amount of effort they put in.

Q: Isn’t this just a fancy recruitment scheme?
A:
If making money or building a business was just about finding people to invest money in the programme that would be true. However, a range of highly effective products that for 27 years have genuinely helped people with a wide range of health issues underpins the business model. Without ‘sales volume’, no one earns money. We are encouraged to redirect our spending by using the products ourselves. We also share the many benefits of the product range with others and develop a customer base to satisfy the requirement to reach a wider marketplace.

Q: Can anyone really succeed in this business?
A:
Without doubt… as long as they are prepared to invest time and effort into something where rewards are not always immediate. Providing the business is structured properly, the growth rate can speed up significantly. Our business model is like a ‘franchise without the fee’…we have all the support systems needed to set up in business, without the need to invest capital or pay an ongoing fee to the ‘franchisor’. Within 12 months the average person can be earning anywhere between £500-£3,500 per month, part-time: exceptional people can achieve considerably more. Compare this to setting up a ‘traditional’ business or franchise, where a return on your investment of both time and capital would be unlikely for 3-4 years. With self-discipline, a basic knowledge and a strong work ethic, anyone can be immensely successful in this business.

Q: Can the Company provide a stable business platform for the next 25 years?
A:
FLP has sustained dynamic growth over the last 27 years, opening for business in over 100 countries around the world and meeting the demands of a massively expanding marketplace. The trends all support our contention that ‘wellness’ is the fastest growing market in the world and FLP is positioned to capitalise on huge growth and handsomely reward those who set the pace.

Q: What kind of training and support will I get?
A:
One of the unique features of FLP’s business model is the level of support provided. The Company has a network of eleven regional business centres across the UK, managed by the Company and providing training programmes, meeting facilities and occasional office space for all. Training costs are nominal and the training programmes are structured so as to focus individuals on their immediate objectives as well as their long-term goals. Much of what we do is based upon developing Leadership and Team Building skills. In 2003 FLP became the first and only Network Marketing Company to be accredited with the highly prestigious Investor In People (IIP) award.

Q: How can I find out more information about the Company?
A:
Naturally, the best place to start would be with the person who has introduced you to FLP. However, you may want more detailed information in the form of financial reports etc. These are available from Companies House, as well as Dun & Bradstreet (our title is Forever Living Products (UK) Limited). In 1998 Dun & Bradstreet produced a Hot 100 Report, naming the 100 Fastest Growing Privately Owned Companies over the preceding 4 years – FLP (UK) Ltd. was 12th.
